Archer Aviation's first piloted flight could arrive in summer 2025!
I've done some research... and it all fits
Many of you are fond of me for that DD I wrote in the Wall Street Bets community when Archer was still around $3, and you have asked me many times to write another one, so here it is.
I was doing some research and came across an article from the Khaleej Times, one of the leading newspapers in the United Arab Emirates (it's in Arabic, but it won't be hard for you to translate it).
In this article, written on March 25, 2025, there is a paragraph that I consider key:
Interpreting this paragraph, everything fits, because Archer has been saying since November 2024 that the first piloted flight was not far away, and this should happen before summer, because the company would not want to deliver a defective product to one of its first customers.
In addition, it makes sense that they would use a final version of the flying cab to perform the corresponding temperature tests they propose.
A lot of attention to Adam Goldstein's final words in the article:
This is how we will move the Midnight aircraft from the production line to our first customers, an approach we will apply again and again as we expand our operations globally. […] Thank you to Abu Dhabi Aviation for being our first customer for our first version. We have a successful year ahead.
I've been reading for several days the despair of some members of the StockWits community for not having made the first piloted flight yet, and everything points to the fact that it's not that far away.
Take care, see you around, and be careful in this ruthless market!
